The Third Phase of the National Village Development Program (PNDS) that is running in 202 villages has begun the process of procurement and mobilizing workers.
The Be’eali bridge, which is located in Hatolia village, Hatolia Administrative Post, Ermera Municipality, was officially inaugurated by the President of the Republic, Taur Matan
On 18 June 2014, Vice Prime Minister Dr. Fernando Lasama inaugurated two PNDS projects in Humboe village in Ermera district.
Suku Tokoluli, a pilot suku, used their first PNDS grant to build a new water tank for the village.
Pilot phase suku are currently holding accountability meetings with the community, the twelfth and final step in the PNDS implementation process.
The community of Ponilala are constructing three community centres, using a rotating employment roster to ensure the whole community has the opportunity to earn money.
“You need to take good care of these state facilities, you cannot damage them, as these facilities will help your activity to develop your Village. These state facilities are yours, we hope that with PNDS program, you will be able to build much more in your village”.”
